To honour our 50th year in business Jay’s Transportation Group will be highlighting 50 of our community contributions over the coming year. With help from everyone at Jay’s, we donate funds and goods and volunteer our time and energy to build stronger communities and help people both locally and globally.
Jay's 50 Ways
We are pleased to announce that as of October 31st, 2014 Jay's Moving and Storage Ltd. will officially be known as Jay's Transportation Group Ltd. After 50 years in business the decision was made to better reflect all that we have to offer as a company. Jay's Transportation Group provides top notch moving and freight services and we wanted to reflect that in our new name.
Jay’s 23rd Annual Telemiracle Golf Classic took place on June 13/2014 at Harbor Golf Club in Elbow Saskatchewan. Despite less than hospitable weather conditions we raised $126,915.87 for Kinsmen Telemiracle. Thanks to all the sponsors, participants and volunteers.
Jay’s president Terry Simonson and office manager Lynn Knoll were on hand to present our cheque at the Kinsmen Telemiracle Telethon on March 1st. It was a special presentation as Jay’s reached a milestone in 2013 – we have donated over a million dollars to Telemiracle over the 22 years we have been working to support this worthy cause. Congratulations to all who volunteered to help us support Telemiracle.
Jay’s Regina’s 4th Annual Rib Night was held March 1st at the Press Box Sports Bar in Regina in support of Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation. Along with a delicious dinner we enjoyed a 50/50 and prize draws, and raised $1,500 towards Telemiracle 39. Thanks to those who organized and all who attended the event.
Jay’s is honoured to be selected a finalist for a Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce Achievement in Business Excellence (ABEX) award for Community Involvement. This nomination reflects our commitment to giving back to our communities. Congratulations and thanks to all those at Jay’s who participate in these initiatives, we couldn’t do it without you!
Jay’s is pleased to announce the scholarship recipients for 2013. These deserving students will be helped to further their post secondary education. Congratulations to Brandon Williams, Nicole Kautzman, Amanda Krochak, Gabrielle Phonsavatdy and Adriana Knoll.
Jay’s Moving is thrilled to announce that we have achieved our goal – raising over a million dollars for Kinsmen Telemiracle over 22 years of fundraising. Our Annual Golf Classic brought the total for 2013 to $124,906 and our grand total to $1,003,518! Jay’s sends thanks to all the volunteers, sponsors and donors who have contributed to this worthy cause.

At the 2013 Saskatchewan Trucking Association Provincial Truck Driving Championships in Regina two Jay’s drivers placed well. Gord Procyk took second in the B-train category and Sheldon Minifie placed second in the Tandem-Tandem group. Congratulations to our expert Jay’s drivers and to all those who participated.
